In Atlanta, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across Georgia, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. Loyalty programs are common and worth joining if you are a regular.

Its website is dripatlanta.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Atlanta is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My daughter and I visited Drip after spending some time in Atlanta. She advised that this coffee shop was close to her school. When we arrived the gentleman and lady behind the counter greeted us. We ordered an iced salted caramel latte with low-fat milk and she ordered hot chocolate with almond milk and they were both delicious. The prices were very reasonable and the shop has a warm-trendy vibe. Many of the customer were there working remotely while they were there drinking their coffee. This is definitely a spot that I would return to.

Not the same anymore. I used to get a turkey pesto twice a week a few years ago and hadn’t been in a while. Went in today and ordered one and boy was I disappointed! WHAT HAPPENED?! No flavor. Barely any pesto, goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes and it used to be packed with all the good stuff. I paid $9 for turkey and bread. Very disappointed.

Came here with my daughter and husband on the weekend for breakfast. We got two breakfast sandwiches, a croissant, and hashbrowns with two lattes. Everything came out fresh and hot. Sandwiches tasted good but definitely need a sauce. Lattes and hashbrowns were tasty. Plenty of street parking and cute vibes inside.

Drip is a nice coffee shop in a quiet neighborhood. There is plenty of inside and outside seating. The wait staff did acknowledge me saying he would be right with me and he wore a mask. I ordered my oar milk latte and had a seat in the comfortable chairs. I got a large oat milk latte which was fine. The coffee could have been a little richer. They have an all genders restroom which was neat and clean There is plenty of street parking but I went on a wee day. Not sure how much parking there would be on the weekend or later in the afternoon

One of the best neighborhood coffee shops. Hal runs a great, inviting business. Always welcoming. Delicious sandwiches for a quick pickup or chill eat in lunch. I love going in for a flat bread breakfast sandwich. Go see Hal and his staff, you'll love them. Update - the Ham and Gouda on flat bread is so good. Caffeine yourself awake, at Drip.
